Hey Ada ("Hey Ada," "we," "us," or "our") operates heyada.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have regarding your information.
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Business information you provide or that Ada collects from websites you ask us to analyze, including website URLs, services, brand information, reviews, and competitor URLs.
- Content created or saved through Hey Ada, including Brand Hub information, topic plans, generated social media posts, and edits.
- Images or other content you upload or generate through the service.
- Subscription and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Usage, diagnostic, and technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Hey Ada.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate Hey Ada.
- Research the businesses and websites you ask Ada to analyze.
- Generate topics, posts, graphics, and other requested content.
- Maintain your Brand Hub, settings, and content history.
- Manage subscriptions and payments.
- Send account, billing, security, service, and data-deletion communications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the security of Hey Ada and its users.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate Hey Ada, including:
- Stripe for payments and subscriptions.
- Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services.
- Anthropic for AI-powered analysis and content generation.
- Resend for transactional email.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI Processing
Information you provide to Hey Ada, including relevant business information, may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate and analyze content.
We do not use your business information to train our own AI models.
Anthropic's commercial terms currently state that customer content submitted through its commercial services is not used to train its models.
Data Retention and Account Cancellation
We retain your account information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service.
If your paid subscription ends, your Hey Ada account and associated product data are scheduled for deletion after 30 days, unless you reactivate your subscription during that period.
We will send a deletion warning approximately seven days before scheduled deletion.
Certain limited information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes. Payment and transaction records maintained by Stripe are subject to Stripe's own retention requirements.
Deleted information may also remain temporarily in secure system backups until those backups are overwritten according to our service providers' normal retention schedules.
Your Choices
You may request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting hello@heyada.app.
We will process verified deletion requests as required by applicable law, subject to information we are permitted or required to retain.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Hey Ada uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, session management, and operation of the service.
We do not currently use advertising cookies.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we maintain. However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Hey Ada is intended for business users and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and provide additional notice when required by law.
